About Us

Dan Kuenster
​
Dan is a cofounder and the creative director of Crescent Pathways. He began his career in animation at Walt Disney Studios and later joined Don Bluth Studios. In 2004, he earned an Emmy for storyboarding before entering the EdTech field.
​
Dan spent 15 years as the visionary behind Istation, an interactive education company. He worked closely with curriculum experts to bring educational content to a new level of engagement and understanding.

Dan’s latest projects include spearheading the development of educational programs to rouse students’ interest in Texas and U.S. history.

George A. Méndez
​
George is the co-founder and head writer of Crescent Pathways. His career in education began in 2000 as an elementary-school teacher in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas. He dedicated his teaching years to helping Spanish-speaking students become bilingual and biliterate.
​
In 2016, George was hired by Istation as a Spanish curriculum writer. He has also been instrumental in creating content for oral reading fluency.
​
In addition to his work at Istation, George spent 2020 as a writer and consultant for an online Texas history project led by Dan Kuenster. Their collaboration continues with Crescent Pathways.
